Iran Foreign Ministry Releases Statement on International Quds Day
The Islamic Republic of Iran uses its missile power to defend its citizens and at the same time advance the common global fight to uproot Daesh and extremist terrorists, says Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.
The missile attack against terrorists’ positions in Syria was a firm, duly response to their recent moves in Tehran, which was conducted with prior notice to the Syrian government, the Foregin Ministry spokesman said Monday.
The Leader pointed to the recent hostile and threatening remarks by US officials and described them as nonsense, saying, “Since the victory of the Revolution, US statesmen have always sought to change the establishment of the Islamic Republic but they won’t manage to slap the Iranian nation, but it is the Iranian nation who will slap them.”
